Support for H.E.R.E. in Barrington

We are turning to our community for support in underwriting these important efforts. Your donation will help H.E.R.E. in Barrington to provide funding for Mental Health Awareness initiatives, Educational Programs for Teens, Parents and Community Members, and grants to local Counseling Services agencies to support families in need with limited financial resources.
 

We know that you’ve been called upon many times before. And, we know that you’ve given generously to a host of important programs and initiatives in our community and elsewhere. Your dedication to supporting so many key causes has helped with more than just the funding aspect, but has also provided reassurance and hope to those struggling in life, as well as those who offer the needy a shoulder to lean on through their volunteerism and professional services.

The Barrington Area Development Council is accepting individual contributions on behalf of H.E.R.E. in Barrington to support its awareness programs that will benefit the community outreach, prevention and counseling efforts of its spotlighted organizations. These include but are not limited to Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health, Barrington 220 School District’s social-emotional learning curriculum and programs, Barrington Youth and Family Services, Family Service of the Barrington Area, Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, the National Alliance on Mental Illness-Barrington Area, Samaritan Counseling Center of the Northwest Suburbs, and HOPE (“Helping Open People`s Eyes”), a student-founded organization at Barrington High School that conducts awareness events and offers presentations about teen suicide prevention.
