The adolescent years can be a challenging time where many teens find it difficult to manage the stressors of day-to-day life. Mindfulness meditation can be a powerful tool for helping teenagers and adults alike successfully navigate through the ups and downs that life can bring. What is mindfulness you ask? Mindfulness is about noticing and responding to things in a particular way. With regular practice, mindfulness can help to increase mental focus, reduce stress/anxiety and strengthen social-emotional functioning. Ample time will be allowed for questions, answers and discussion. This FREE program is offered for parents of middle and high school teens.
