Mission
HERE in Barrington is a coalition of youth, parents, and community members dedicated to providing help, encouragement, resources, and education to promote positive mental health and reduce the occurrence of suicide and other harmful behavior.

On May 3, we welcome Karen Swartz, M.D., a mood disorders specialist from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.  Dr. Swartz will discuss the signs, symptoms and treatment of adolescent depression and Bipolar Disorder.  Time for questions and answers will follow.
 
This very valuable program is free and open to the public.  It is offered jointly by HERE in Barrington and the Johns Hopkins Adolescent Depression Awareness Program (ADAP).

The program will take place at 7 pm, Thursday, May 3, at Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E. Main St,  Barrington.
